Guide
Can AI sort your business inbox for you?
It can, and the useful version does more than filter spam. Every new email lands in one of three piles, the routine replies come pre-drafted, and nothing sends until you say so.
Video, 44 seconds. Transcript below. Watch on YouTube
The three piles
- Needs you. The handful of emails only you can answer.
- Already drafted. Routine replies, written in your voice, waiting for one click.
- FYI. Everything you should know about but don't need to touch.
The point isn't a tidier inbox. It's that the morning stops being a dig. You open the first pile, deal with what only you can deal with, and send the drafts you agree with.
What makes it useful instead of annoying
- Drafts that sound like you. It learns from how you've answered before, so the tenth person asking about turnaround gets your best answer, drafted for you to send.
- Nothing sends on its own. You read the drafts, fix what you want, and hit send.
- One morning summary. Ask "what's on my plate today?" and get your calendar, flagged email and open to-dos boiled down to what needs you.
Give it a week before you trust it
For the first week, check its piles every day before you rely on them. Make sure customer emails and invoices aren't landing in FYI. When it gets one wrong, tell it, the same way you'd correct a new hire. It remembers what you tell it.
Questions owners ask
Will it answer customers on its own?
No. Replies are drafted and wait for your one click. Anything that sends goes through you.
How is this different from Gmail or Outlook filters?
Filters move mail by rules you write ahead of time. The agent reads each message, decides which pile it belongs in, and drafts the reply.
Does my email leave my computer?
The system and its memory live on your own computer and in your own accounts, and CommandKey never logs in to it. The thinking runs through Anthropic's Claude on your own subscription, and you get a plain-language walkthrough of exactly what leaves your machine before anything is installed.
What do I need?
A Windows computer you own that can stay on (Mac isn't tested yet), and a Claude subscription you pay Anthropic for directly.

The first is email that needs you, the handful only you can answer. The second is already drafted: routine replies written in your voice, waiting for one click. The third is FYI, everything you should know about but don't need to touch. Nothing sends on its own. You read the drafts, fix what you want, and hit send. Give it a week of checking its piles before you trust them. CommandKey installs an agent that does this on your own computer, with your own email account. Get a free week audit at commandkey.ai.
